Term Of Limited Warranty: This 24 months or 24,000 miles vehicle coverage expires by the time measured by the date of sale or the mileage measured from the odometer reading at the time of sale, whichever occurs first.
Deductible Per Visit: The amount YOU are required to pay per visit for covered breakdowns is $200.00.
What Is Covered: Upon payment of the deductible amount per visit stated on the front of this Limited Warranty and before the expiration of this Limited Warranty, the Administrator will arrange for necessary repairs to components listed in the specific coverage for the covered vehicle. All necessary repairs will be made within 21 days after receiving notice of the problem. Replacement of any part may be made with parts of like kind and quality at the time of breakdown, including remanufactured or used parts. This Limited Warranty covers failure to a covered part resulting from normal wear and tear. The following is a list of parts covered by this Limited Warranty.
Engine: All Internal Lubricated Parts plus these non-internal lubricated parts: intake and exhaust manifolds, factory-installed supercharger/turbocharger, radiator, water pump, thermostat, fuel pump, valve covers, oil pan, dipstick and tube, lines, timing belt, timing chain/belt cover, camshaft position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, engine mounts, flywheel, ring gear, flex plate, harmonic balancer, belt tensioner and idler pulley(s), cylinder head, engine block, rotor housings.*
Transmission: All Internal Lubricated Parts plus these non-internal lubricated parts: torque converter, transmission mount(s), oil pan, dipstick and filler tube, lines, vacuum modulator. Transmission case*.
Transfer Case: All Internal Lubricated Parts plus these non-internal lubricated parts: electronic and vacuum engagement parts, four-wheel-drive/semi-automatic and manually operated hub assemblies. Transfer case*.
Drive Axle Assembly: All Internally Lubricated Parts plus the following parts: axle shafts, axle bearings, constant velocity joints and boots, universal joints, center support bearing, Final drive housing*.
Electrical: Alternator, voltage regulator, starter motor, starter drive, starter solenoid or starter relay, wiper motor(s), power window motor/regulator, power seat motor, power mirror motor, power door lock actuator, ignition cylinder.
Steering/Suspension: Steering box, rack, and pinion assembly. power steering pump, lines, pitman arm, idler arm, radius arm, tie rod leveling sleeve, tie rods and center link, steering column shaft, shaft coupling and bearings, upper and lower control arm shafts and bushings, double-wishbone assembly, upper and lower ball joints, wheel bearings, steering knuckle, torsion bars and bushings, track bar, and bushings, stabilizer bar and bushings, stabilizer links, spindle and spindle support, coil springs and leaf springs, sensor and limiter valve.
Heating & Cooling: Compressor clutch coil and pulley, dryer/accumulator, heater core, condenser, compressor, evaporator, lines, expansion valve, orifice, mode control cable.
Brakes: Master cylinder, vacuum assist booster, hydro-boost and accumulator, disc calipers, wheel cylinders, flexible hydraulic lines and fittings, compensation valve, load distribution valves, backing plates, self-adjusters, shift interlock, parking brake linkage, and cables.
Fluids, Lubricants, and Filters: are covered when required in connection with the repair of the Covered Part.
Towing Charge: in the event of a mechanical breakdown of a Covered Part, You will be reimbursed for Your actual cost up to a maximum of $100.00
What is Not Covered: This limited warranty will cover only that item listed under “What Is Covered” and does not cover the following:
Incidental or consequential damages or loss caused by the breakdown of covered parts (or otherwise) including property damage, personal injury, inconvenience, loss of vehicle use, damage to a covered part by a non-covered part, and damage to a non-covered part by a covered part. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Also not covered:
Repairs covered by any manufacturer or manufacturer’s emissions warranty on the covered vehicle (whether or not transferred with the vehicle), manufacturer’s recall or factory bulletins, breakdowns of components caused by a defect the manufacturer has publicly announced it would correct, but which you failed to have corrected. Repairs performed by someone other than a licensed repair facility. Commercial use is excluded and will void coverage under this limited warranty. Repairs required because of collision, abuse, operation without proper lubrication or coolant, road conditions, misuse, negligence, racing, accidents, fires, floods, riots, acts of God, vandalism, upset, theft, lack of reasonable and proper maintenance, abuse through towing or improper load capacity, abuse through the continued operation of an impaired vehicle, or any other losses normally covered by casualty insurance. Alterations which cause the vehicle to be out of compliance with the manufacturer’s specification. Repairs beyond those required to correct the covered failure. Repairs of components that have been altered or whose odometer has been tampered. The total benefits payable under this Limited Warranty shall not exceed the price paid for the vehicle. Repairs made outside the Continental United States and Canada unless you obtain a written waiver to this condition from the Selling/Leasing Dealer. Any manufacturer’s required maintenance.
Maintenance items, including labor and parts, such as tune-ups, carburetor adjustments, oil changes, engine adjustments, alignments, fuel system cleaning, spark plugs, repairs related to fuel or oil contamination, wheel balancing, filters, belts, hoses, CV joints seals and brake linings.
If your vehicle is within one hundred (100) miles of the Selling, you must deliver your vehicle to the Selling Dealer at the address shown on the cover of this agreement for repairs.
If repairs to a covered component are required outside of normal business hours (i.e. on a weekend or holiday) you should deliver your vehicle to a licensed repair facility and have the necessary repairs performed on your vehicle at a reasonable and customary charge for the repairs. On the next business day, you should report the repairs to the Administrator.
Emergency repairs are defined as repairs required to enable your vehicle to be driven.
